The Haps...

Well, minds have been furthered, changes are taking place on a near daily basis, and the ruKus is continuing to blast forth from every possible angle and location throughout the known universe. But let's play a mind game. Placing myself in your shoes, here is what I would guess you're thinking: "So, just what the hell has been going on? There's been no open-mic at The Oaks for the past few weeks, shows on ruKus radio have been few and far between, and updates have been a little light. Come on guys! Get your shit together!"

Ok, ok. We know. So here's the quick rundown. The planning process for FMMF sucked up quite a bit of time. And right at the end of it all, TQ and Moestradamus took off to the lake for a little vaca. But now we're back. And in full force, to be sure. So here's what you can expect from the newly improved ruKus radio and ruKus - the summer.

More shows! Damn right. We're going to be adding more shows to ruKus radio's programming. Daytime shows, late night shows, we're bringing them all. Stay tuned for an updated schedule!

ruKus - the mic night will be returning to The Royal Oaks! Starting next Monday, June 30, we will be back in full swing kicking the shit out of The Oaks with some open-mic goodness! The sign-up list opens up at 8pm. Stage opens at 9. We will be ROADcasting the entire event on ruKusradio.net, and on the last Monday of the month (July will be the first), we'll be recording the sets so you can have a copy. Just don't drink too much. Unless your goal is to capture your drunkest set ever. Then, drink alot.

More stuff to do on the website! We're going to be adding all kinds of fun stuff for you to d o on ruKusradio.net! Plans for ruKus - the forum and ruKus - the arcade are already underway. So be sure to stick close to ruKusradio.net for the updates.

LIVE SHOWS!! ruKus radio has a sweet lineup of shows that we're presenting at The Royal Oaks! Throughout July and August, we have some truly KILLER acts coming through. So be sure to check out the schedule.

The Ultimate Interview

That's right, kids! Gil Mantera's Party Dream is getting ready to head off for an entire summer of Warped Tour fun, and we're going to sit down with Ultimate Donny's brain and a pick in the back booth of The Royal Oaks! This Tuesday, June 12, at 7pm, we'll be re-broadcasting the ruKus on the road LIVE GMPD set from Cedars on 4.4.08! And word on the street is, we very well may be getting our hands on 5 never-before-released tracks from the new Party Dream album!!
